Company web stores
A branded ordering site for your staff, your members or your franchisees. They choose, they size themselves, they order. ABS produces and ships each order. A company store has been built and run — this is a delivered capability, not an offer.
What a store replaces
Someone collects sizes. Someone chases the four people who did not reply. Someone guesses on the ones who never did, orders a spread to be safe, and ends up with a cupboard of extra-smalls. Then a new hire starts and the whole thing happens again for one person.
A spreadsheet, a bulk order sized by guesswork, a stock cupboard, and one person who owns all of it on top of their actual job.
A branded site. Each person picks their own item and their own size. The order is produced and shipped against it.
You stop being the distribution department. The store is the process.
Who runs one
Locations order uniforms through a branded site instead of through head office. One build, reused per location — and head office stops being the middleman on every order.
The association lists the store as a member benefit at member pricing. No cost to the association, and it adds a line to the membership offering.
A kit assembled, counted and drop-shipped to wherever the person actually starts — including when that is inside somebody else's building.
An allowance or a fixed selection, ordered by the person who will wear it, in the size they actually are.
Event calendars, seasonal refreshes and uniform cycles run against the same artwork and the same store, year after year.
How a store gets built
Which items, which colours, which decoration. Sourced against your budget, not picked off a catalog page.
Virtual proofs on every item in the range, at more than one price point. Revised until you approve them.
Vectorization and embroidery digitizing, done once. The approved artwork is retained for every later order.
A branded ordering site carrying the approved range, ready for the people who will use it.
ABS produces and ships each order. Warehoused stock is drawn down as it is ordered.
For associations
Associations tend to want the benefit without the administration. All three of these are structured so the association carries neither cost nor fulfilment.
The association lists ABS as a member benefit at member pricing. No cost to the association; it adds a line to the membership offering.
Multi-store operators order uniforms through a branded site rather than through head office. One build, reused per location.
ABS joins as a dues-paying supplier member and exhibits at the convention — participating as a member rather than as a contractor.
Digitizing is a one-time cost. Every later order across every member reuses it at no repeat charge.
Next step
Those three answers decide whether a store is worth building or whether a simpler arrangement does the job. If it is the second one, we will say so.
